Transition members
When students graduate, it can take some extra time to
establish themselves financially. In recognition of this, ESA created a 2-step
pricing structure for our student and young professional members.
As student members transition to
regular membership they are eligible for discounts of about 50% of the regular
price for dues the
first year and 25% off regular dues the second year. To be eligible for the
student transition discount, a person must be a student member prior to graduating
and then maintain transition membership in the two years subsequent to their graduation.
Effective as of 2008, the transition categories underwent a structural change. To
qualify as a Student Transition member, a person needs to have graduated within two
years of the dues cycle year and have been an ESA member since that time. The only qualification is that it has been 5 years or less since
graduating from your highest educational degree.
