The 2012 National Conference on Urban Entomology will be held May 20-23, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia. The NCUE emphasizes innovation and research on household, structural and public health arthropod pests.

The i5k Workshop 2012 will be held May 30-31, 2012 at the Kansas City Mariott in Kansas City, MO. The i5k Initiative aims for genome sequences of 5,000 insects and other arthropods over the next five years.
