How large are the ESA meetings?

The size of the ESA Annual Meeting can vary greatly, depending on location, weather forecasts, timing, and even the overall economic picture. Generally speaking, though, the size of the meeting has held fairly consistently between 2000 and 2300 attendees, making it large enough to ensure a wide array of research topics and interest, yet small enough so that all members will be able to find a cohort of colleagues with whom they can associate.
