Section A:
Systematics, Morphology, and Evolution

With the approval of new ESA Bylaws in 2007, this Section ceased to exist at the end of that year.

The topics covered by Section A included phylogeny, nomenclature, biogeography, and comparative aspects of behavior; genetics; ecology; and population, organismal, developmental, cellular, and molecular biology.
