With the approval of new ESA Bylaws in 2007, this Section
ceased to exist at the end of that year.
The interests and specialties addressed within this Section
included economic and non-economic arthropods at the organismic, population, and
community level, under natural and artificial conditions; biology and economics
of social insects; ecological interactions and behavioral responses of
arthropods as influenced by genetic, biotic, and abiotic environmental factors;
trophic level interactions including predators, parasitoids, arthropod
pathogens, and vectors of plant pathogens, with applications for rearing and
management.
