Extension and Regulatory Entomology

With the approval of new ESA Bylaws in 2007, this Section ceased to exist at the end of that year.

Section E placed emphasis on facilitating individual and organizational involvement in programs directed toward improving the welfare of agriculture and humankind. It included integrated pest management and program analysis and implementation; developmental and demonstration research; detection of introduced pests and monitoring of endemic arthropods; education and technology transfer; as well as the legal aspects of entomology such as regulatory, inspectional and certification activities.
