Reno in 2008!
Thank you for your interest in the 2008 ESA Annual Meeting in Reno. This year the annual meeting
will be held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
Housing
The official hotels are the Atlantis Hotel and Casino and the
Peppermill Hotel and Casino. As a change from years past the Peppermill and the Atlantis are not
Passkey housing systems, so attendees will need to book directly with the
hotels.
ESA has negotiated reduced rates for your stay in Reno at the Atlantis Casino
Resort Spa and the Peppermill Hotel and Casino. ESA is held financially
responsible for utilizing blocks of rooms at these hotels. Please support ESA
by making your housing reservation at either of these hotels.
Shuttle Service
Shuttle service will be provided between the Peppermill Hotel and Casino and the
Reno-Sparks Convention Center throughout the meeting.

Air Travel:
The region is served by the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The airport includes flights
from the following airlines (list current as of May 2, 2008): Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, Aloha
Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, Delta Connection, Express Jet, Horizon Air,
Southwest, United, Ted, and US Airways. A good website for reviewing flights
into and out of Reno is available by clicking here.
Local Travel:
Reno is an easy city to navigate and the hotels are
less than two miles from the airport (click through to see a Reno map). There are a large number of shuttle and taxi
services available at the airport either by reservation or simply by finding
one onsite.
Things to see and do:
While gaming is the #1 tourist attraction in Reno, one would be remiss in thinking that Reno is ALL gambling.
Check out our "local flavor" page for more ideas of
what to see and do while you're in Reno.
