The International Congress on Insect Neurochemistry and Neurophysiology (ICINN) Student Recognition Award in Insect Physiology, Biochemistry, Toxicology, and Molecular Biology

Sponsored by ICINN

This Entomological Foundation award recognizes and encourages innovative research in the areas of insect physiology, biochemistry, toxicology, and molecular biology in the broad sense. The areas of research may include development, genetics, defense mechanisms, and other offshoots of physiology, biochemistry, and toxicology. The award consists of an amount that varies depending on the interest earned from the endowment and a certificate of recognition. The recipient will be presented with the award at the ESA Annual Meeting.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a student and an active, current ESA member. He/she must have demonstrated excellence to the advancement of basic or applied entomological research on the undergraduate or graduate level. An individual may receive this award only once.
