Kristie Reddick and Jessica Honaker, also known as The Bug Chicks, appeared on AM Northwest, a local TV show on KATU in Portland, Oregon, along with some insects to show the audience and hosts. Kristie and Jessica both hold master's degrees in entomology, and as The Bug Chicks, they teach about the world of insects, spiders and their relatives, using these animals as learning tools for use in the classroom. Their mission is "to teach entomology to students all over the world and promote informal science education."
