In the 1940s, the now-defunct U.S. government agency Office of the Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs hired Walt Disney Studios to create a series of films for developing countries called "Health for the Americas." This one shows the types of insects that spread disease, including mosquitoes, lice, flies and others.
