In this NBC News video, Jonathan Simkins, an expert in flying insects, films what he calls "the prehistoric nest from the dinosaur ages" in central Florida.

This giant yellow jacket nest -- it's 6.5 feet tall, and eight feet wide -- contained about a million insects, and had thousands of queens.
