Oscar E. Liburd, an entomology professor at the University of Florida, explains why he became an agricultural entomologist, and the goal of his research.

"Integrated Pest Management is a combination of different strategies to reduce pest populations, as opposed to using pesticides," Dr. Liburd explains.
