The ESA Governing Board and the Certification Programs
ESA's certification programs are managed by the Certification Board with oversight by the ESA Certification Corporation Governing Board. Generally
acting on input from the Certification Board, ESA's Governing Board serves as
the ESA Certification Corporation Governing Board and sets fees, policies, and standards for ESA's certification programs.

Committee
Motion to approve the creation of a new separate
501(c)(6) corporation controlled by ESA, which is a 501(c)(3)corporation.
Winter 2009, ESA Certification Corporation
Governing Board
Motion to approve Certification program budget with increased fees for BCE.
Motion to approve new eligibility requirements for BCE.
Summer 2004, ESA Governing Board meeting
Motion #7 (Mason): Move that BCE non-member renewal
fees be raised from $200 to $250 annually. Motion carried.

Cyberminutes November 2003 – May 2004
Motion # 5 (Kamble): Move that the Associate
Certified Entomologist (ACE) fees, as approved at the Winter 2002 meeting of
the ESA Governing Board, be amended as follows: New applications (to include
first-year dues and examination) - $75; Annual Renewal - $50; and
Re-examination Fee - $10. Motion carried.

Motion #6 (as "friendly amended") (Kamble):
In addition to the previously approved benefits of a uniform patch, a window
decal, and the ACE code of ethics, Associate Certified Entomologists will also
receive access to the ESA online Newsletter and the ability to register for ESA
functions at a rate higher than the member rate and lower than the non-member
rate. Motion carried.
