2013 Special Outreach Program for Students

ESA is excited to host a special program during Entomology 2013 to encourage undergraduate and graduate student groups from small colleges and universities in TX to attend ESA’s 61st Annual Meeting on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11 at the Austin Convention Center.

And by special invitation, undergraduates and their professors may also attend the "How Cool is Entomology" symposium scheduled for Wednesday, November 13 from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

This program is by special invitation to leaders in life sciences and biology departments at small universities and colleges in Texas. This special offer is not for anyone planning to present at this year's Annual Meeting.

Students who participate have the opportunity to get an early jump on their career, better understand the variety of careers in entomology, gain access to a world-renowned event with key leaders in the entomological field, network with top entomology departments, see first-hand how other students present their research, learn the latest in entomological research, and learn about the ESA and its programs and services.

The special program includes attendance at all events taking place on Sunday and/or Monday. It does not include participation in presentations.

All completed registration forms for this program must be sent to Debi Sutton, ESA Director of Membership and Marketing at dsutton@entsoc.org no later than September 15.  You cannot register online for this program. The program has limited space, so act quickly.
