Dear Sir, Madam,
I have recently graduated with a Ph.D. (Entomology) at University of Georgia. My work focused on IPM practices in Geenhouse management of Gerbera Daisies. My M.S. work focussed on studying a hymenopteran parasitoid of Mole crickets, a pest of turf. Apart from my experience and interest in the science, I am very passionate about the education part and have enjoyed teaching responsibilities also.
Please find below my Resume, CV, and a few sentences of how I would describe myself. I would be excited to share more about my experiences, interests and passion for science in a face to face meeting, should you be interested.
As an individual, I believe in taking up responsibility and the challenges that come with it to make a difference. It is my constant effort to make myself useful where ever I am in as many levels possible. Basically I am a people person and enjoy working with teams, but also like to take charge and make something better than when I found it. I am adaptable and have been able to merge well and work in different types of scenarios individually, in teams and in supervisory positions thus far. I am currently ooking forward to my next opportunity.
I hope we get to work together in the near future, and thanks for considering.
Sincerely
Cheri Abraham, Ph.D.
