I am currently a PhD student at the University of Arkansas, working in the fruit entomology lab. The main focus of my research here is the chemical and visual cues eliciting oviposition by rednecked cane borer. I am also working on the chemical ecology of raspberry crown borer and green June beetle. Along with chemical ecology, I have conducted efficacy studies on rednecked cane borer. In terms of tree fruit pests, most of my exposure to these pests occured during my Masters work at Michigan State University. There I conducted transovarial studies of novaluron on codling moth and obliquebanded leafroller.
