I am biologist and I am doing my PhD in the laboratory of Entomology (Invertebrate Zoology Lab) and Pest Control of the Universidad Nacional del Sur, Bahia Blanca, Argentina. My PhD is based in the bioactivity of natural products against stored product pests. I have 2 publications in scientific journals (Chilean Journal of Agricultural Research and Natural Product Communications), 3 short comunications on that topic.
I am also doing an internship at Leiden University (Netherland), working with the plant physiology and ecology group on tritrophic interactions between cultivated, wild and genetically modified potatoes plants, aphids and syrphids.
I will also do an intership on insect growth regulators at the University of Gent (Belgium)
My training is a great concern in my life, as demonstrated by the courses that I have taken and the languages that I have studied. I am a person who constantly looks for new goals and challenges and I think that the degree I obtained represents the beginning of a new stage of learning that will allow me to focus on the topics of interest that I have always had.
I think that knowledge and experience ennoble us. For this reason, I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and aquired experience.
