I intend to persue an academic career in medical entomology, targetting the medically important insect vectors in an effort to better understand their ecology and biology and thus improve our control efforts.

I have conducted independant research and have accumulated many hours of field and lab work both in a team and by my self.

I have published several works in which I was the lead author and have actively co-authored others. 

Statistical analysis, molecular labwork, outdoor resoursfulness, technical skills, GIS and remote location field work are part of my personal "tool-kit" and are put to use on a daily basis.

Conference attendance is second nature to me, both in the domestic and international circles, presenting talks and posters 2-3 times a year.
