I am Sundar Tiwari, Assistant Professor of Entomology/ Agricultural Entomologist in Ecological Service Center (ECOSCENTRE) in Nepal. I am keenly interested in Bee pollination. Now the pollination is becoming the key issues in human life and biodiversity conservation and in other hand the pollinators are declining year by year here in Nepal and world. I did my master degree from Tribhubhan University, Nepal and chose the IPM related topic for thesis dissertation. I love the biology so choose entomology as a major subject in Master.
After that, career begins in agricultural sciences with a research associate position under Prof. Thapa and Prof. Gautam. Now I am involved in teaching and doing research as a agricultural entomologist. Another keen interest subject is Integrated Pest Management and Farmers Field. For the first time, the IPM field school concept was trying to introduce in academic curricula under the department of Entomology under Tribhubhan University. I have involved in many national and international workshop and training around the world to deal about IPM and bee related issues. Currently, I am involving in teaching many subjects like IPM, Biological control, bee taxonomy and side by side research activities based on pollination and IPM related issues of many insect pest.
I have given several presentations over my research both at international and national entomological meetings and workshop and published more than dozens of publications.
