After four years of studying Entomology and Plant Pathology in Southwest University in China, I came to University of Maine for graduate study of Entomology. For the past two years, I have been working with potato beetles studying their insecticide resistance, thermal tolerance and demographical parameters.

During my graduate study, I actively participated in a variety of conferences, including the annual meeting of the Potato Association of America, Entomological Society of America and Graduate Expo of University of Maine, as well as other insect related symposiums, with poster and oral presentations.
