Good day!

I am Mino Giacomo A. Marimat, a graduate of MSc. Entomology - Specializing in Insecticide Toxicology - and Minor in Biochemistry. I am seeking a position in research entomology, wherein I believe I could contribute more especially for researches involving insecticide bioefficacy / toxicity testing, both synthetic and microbial. I also believe that my knowledge and experience in the above mentioned fields will make me qualified for research activities involving the field of Entomology, Agronomy, and Agriculture in general.

Recently, I am among the successful examinees in the Licensure Exam for Agriculturists (LEA), which was taken last July 29-31, 2012. I believe that my experiences both in the academe and in the industry, particularly my exposure to the field and dealing with crops ranging from the vegetables to industry crops such as corn and sweet sorghum, especially on research activities in crop protection practices and techniques for such, will allow me to contribute to the general welfare and interest of the sciences and the organization to be applied for, and therefore contribute to excellent quality products in the long run. Furthermore, my experiences in entomological research, which I have extensively used in my MSc. Thesis which involved insect rearing, toxicity testing, as well as susceptibility to insect pathogens, will definitely be used to its full extent in future research activities, should I be accepted.
