I am anticipating graduating in December 2013 with my PhD in Entomology from the University of Idaho. I am currently looking for a postdoctoral research position. I would consider myself a community ecologist with research interests that include community dynamics and trophic interactions, plant-insect interactions, insect vectors of plant pathogens and impacts of invasive species on community structure and function. Most of my experiences have been gained through applied research, working in both forest and agricultural settings. I am a very motivated individual and enjoy exploring new systems and taking on new challenges. I am an active member in a number of professional societies and enjoy sharing my research at scientific conferences.
