I have developed an interest in insect behavior and insect rearing from my experience in studying the life history of a cactus coreid, Narnia femorata, for my graduate research. My other fascinations include invasive insect species and their management/prevention, and research related with biological control agents.
I am also interested in participating and organizing in outreach programs for children, working in a university environment as a researcher, and even working in a law enforcement environment as an agricultural specialist to curtail the introduction of harmful pests across our borders. I am graduating in August 2013 and look forward to pursuing a challenging and rewarding career.
