My research deals with the ecology of invasive insect pests affecting vegetables & horticulture crops. Most of my work is conducted in agricultural systems, at the interface between basic and applied ecology.

My interests are broad, currently focusing on four areas:

• Interaction between Insecticides and Insect pests
• Insecticide resistance management
• Ecological effects of invasive alien insects
• Biotechnology and risk assessment
