Graduate Student Assistantship
A new Master of Science graduate assistantship, which provides support for extension, research and teaching programs, is opening at the UGA Tifton Campus in Tifton, GA. This program will be coordinated by Dr. David Riley, a researcher in vegetable entomology with 27 years professional experience and Graduate Coordinator of the Master of Plant Protection and Pest Management teaching program. The student for the current assistantship will graduate with the Department of Entomology in the University of Georgia. The candidate is expected to start in spring 2018. Required skills include an undergraduate degree in biological sciences (or related field), preferably with experience and training relevant to IPM. The accepted candidate will receive a robust training the field of vegetable entomology.
