Member Toolbox
Welcome to the ESA Member Toolbox page. This page is
designed to be a single-location for your most common membership needs with
regards to keeping your ESA membership current and accurate.
Encourage Your Colleagues to Join ESA by Email:
Communicating with your colleagues by e-mail is probably one
of the easiest things that you can do to help encourage membership. You are the
link between the headquarters staff and the potential members that you know.
Version 1 (general):
ESA is the largest organization in the world dedicated to
the study, understanding, research, and building the global knowledge base of
insects. We were founded over 110 years ago and currently have over 5,500
international members in fields as wide-ranging as entomology, pest control,
health departements, and academia. Some of the benefits of membership include:
- free online access to our scientific journals,
- free online access to our annual report -- Arthropod Management Tests,
- free members-only access to the ESA Membership Directory for networking
opportunities,
- the opportunity to build your resume with leadership experience
through committees and other forms of participation,
- significant discounts on attending ESA Meetings,
- free subscription to American Entomologist,
- free subscription to the ESA Newsletter, and much more.
May we send you some more information on ESA? If so, please simply
reply to this email with your contact address. You can also access our website
(http://www.entsoc.org/) and read more about the Society. A PDF
of the membership application is attached to this note. Thanks for
your time, and we look forward to serving you as a member very soon.
