Encourage Your Colleagues to Join ESA
As a membership Society, we are only as strong as our
membership roster. Please help us grow and face future challenges by talking
about ESA with your co-workers. We are the largest organization in the world
dedicated to entomology.
The success of ESA is inextricably linked to membership
networking. We rely on our members in so many ways - renewing their membership,
attending our meetings, publishing in and reading our publications, and so on. Aside from
keeping your own membership current the single most important act you can take
as an ESA member is to encourage others to join us. We use the slogan “Strength
in Numbers” for a reason.

When there are more members, our collective voice is more likely to be heard,

When there are more members, our journals (which are free online to members) will be more
widely read,

When there are more members, there will be a better exchange of ideas and vision, and

When there are more members, the operating costs of running the Society are shared by many
rather than borne by a few.
