Lygus in Western Cropping Systems

In the Western U.S., Lygus spp. (Hemiptera: Miridae) can cause major losses to cotton, vegetables, seed crops, and a variety of other crops. Management of Lygus is further complicated by intercrop movement of this polyphagous pest. The purpose of this ESA Network is to facilitate communication and collaboration among entomologists working on various aspects of Lygus biology, ecology, and management.

For information on this Network, contact the organizers, Peter Ellsworth (peterell@ag.arizona.edu) and Al Fournier (fournier@ag.arizona.edu).
