School IPM Network

There is a growing community of scientists working to implement IPM in school and child care facilities. An ESA Network is forming that will provide a focal point for implementers facilitating the practice of IPM in kids environments.

The Network will be able to organize Member/Network Symposia, ten-minute paper sessions, and poster sessions. We would hope to also be able to cluster student competition papers within the Network. Regional USDA IPM Center Working Groups, National Teams, Extension Coordinating Committee Members, Industry Representatives, and Advocacy Groups can use the network meeting as the decision-making locus for future collaborations and goals.

Let us know if you have any questions or comments. The 2007 Network meeting will consist of brief national updates and discussion to determine how the Network will function and plan activities at the ESA meeting in 2008.
