This network is open to any ESA member who has an interest in insects in relation to plant disease. The goals of our network are the following:

• Create a community of scientists who have an interest in insects in relation to plant disease that can serve as a resource for inquiry, collaboration, and camaraderie.
• Share information about grants, job announcements, meetings that are of interest to members of this network.
• Ensure the needs of members of this network are being met by the ESA.
• Organize symposia at the ESA annual meeting.
• Meet on a yearly basis at the ESA annual meeting.
• Should the need arise, work as a group to draft position papers and submit them to appropriate venues.
• All members of the former Sub-Section Cc will automatically be considered members of this new network, unless they contact the current network organizers. Please contact the organizers should you have any questions or suggestions about this network.
