Nilsa Bosque-Pérez Appointed University Distinguished Professor

Dr. Nilsa A. Bosque-Pérez, a professor at the University of Idaho, has been appointed University Distinguished Professor. She was recognized for her continuous excellence in scholarly achievement, teaching and mentoring, breadth and depth in her discipline, and recognition that has brought distinction to the University of Idaho.

Dr. Bosque-Pérez is a Fellow of the Entomological Society of America and of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Previous awards include the 2015 Gamma Sigma Delta Outstanding Research Award, the 2012 Entomological Society of America Pacific Branch Award for Distinction in Student Mentoring, the 2011 University of Idaho Award for Excellence in Interdisciplinary or Collaborative Efforts, and the 2006 Entomological Society of America Recognition Award in Entomology.
