Committees and Boards
ESA has three types of committees. For more information on each type of committee – including descriptions of each committee's function, composition, current roster, and terms of office – please select from the following:
Standing Committees report to and make recommendations to the Governing Board, develop objectives and operational procedures, and assist the Board and Headquarters in implementing various programs and activities.
Presidential Committees may be appointed as needed by the President to serve during his/her term as President and undertake a particular tasking.
Special Committees are established from the membership of the Society by a majority vote of the Governing Board to conduct a specific task for a specified period of time.
