Insect Chemical Ecology, Neurobiology and IPM Program

Position description: A PhD level graduate research assistantship (GRA) is available starting Fall 2017 in the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology at Auburn University. The successful applicant should be motivated to perform both basic and applied research in one or more of the following areas:

chemical ecology of plant-herbivore-natural enemy interactions, and neurobiology of pest/beneficial insects, molecular ecology of plant-insect interactions. Both laboratory and field work may be required for the completion of the project. A reasonable stipend, tuition waiver and subsidized student health insurance plan will be provided.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Entomology, Biological Sciences or a related discipline.
