Lanham, MD; April 29, 2010 – ESA is looking for the best insect photos to grace our 2011 World of Insects Calendar.
Photos should show insects in their natural environments and should be of the highest aesthetic and technical quality. Photographs for the calendar will be selected by a committee appointed by the ESA President.
For review purposes, photos should be in JPG format (between 1000 and 2000 pixels wide) and should be e-mailed to pubs@entsoc.org [2] by June 15, 2010.
Each photographer can submit no more than a maximum of eight (8) photographs. All photos must be horizontal and rectangular in layout (vertical and square photos will not be accepted).
Include the common and/or scientific name of the insect(s) in the file name with each photo.
