Purdue's forensic entomology program was featured on Discovery Channel's reality television show "Dirty Jobs" at 9 p.m. Nov. 28. The episode, titled "Bug Detective," highlighted the work of graduate students who study forensic entomology as they collect and analyze insects from dead pigs to determine time of death and other information about crime scene scenarios.
