Invitation to Publish in the Journal of Integrated Pest Management

Would you like to publish in an Entomological Society of America journal that had 6 of the top 10 manuscript downloads in 2012? If so, then the Journal of Integrated Pest Management (JIPM) could be your outlet. JIPM is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal focused on integrated pest management. But what makes JIPM truly unique is that it is exclusively extension/outreach oriented.

The journal is multi-disciplinary in scope, publishing articles in all pest management disciplines, including entomology, nematology, plant pathology, weed science, and other subject areas. The editors request submissions of original, extension-type articles about any aspect of pest management in the broadest sense, including, but not limited to, management of pests that affect row crops, forage and grasslands, horticultural crops, forests, urban landscapes, structures, schools, households, livestock and pets, and human health.

The journal publishes only “original extension” manuscripts, and does not publish “original research” manuscripts found in all other ESA journals. JIPM could be the perfect journal for disseminating your information to a broad audience that increasingly relies on the Internet for information. If you wish to discuss a potential manuscript idea, please contact one of the co-editors-in-chief listed below. For more information and instructions on submitting a manuscript, visit
