It's a Bug's World

An annual event held in conjunction with the Eastern Branch Meeting, It's a Bug's World is an educational and fun insect expo for the whole family. Open to the public, the expo features live and specimen insects, displays, crafts, and much more:

  • See lots of butterflies, beetles, spiders, and bugs galore
  • Sample gourmet fare made with edible insects
  • Build-a-Bug take home crafts
  • Watch the insect detectives
  • And much more!

Don't miss the Special Featured Exhibit: W. H. Bates Middle School Mosquito Project. Bates Middle School students are working with ESA entomologists to create a mosquito figure sculpture using potential habitat items that students have collected. The sculpture will be unveiled on March 18 at Bug’s World,
and will then permanently located at the School. Students will be on hand to discuss their studies in mosquito life cycle, habitat, and environmental impact.

Plan to join us on Sunday, March 18 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at the Westin Annapolis. 2018 It's a Bug's World Program
