About: The Nothing But Nets Leadership Summit is an annual convening in Washington DC of partner organizations and committed advocates in the fight against malaria. The goal of the Summit is to educate supporters on the latest global health and policy trends and the role they can play, particularly through their advocacy efforts. On Sunday, attendees will learn skills and strategies in effective advocacy and public engagement. On Monday, the Summit will showcase high-level speakers to provide the state of play on a number of issues from global health, to the United Nations, to the policy trends coming out of the White House and Capitol Hill. Finally, on Tuesday (World Malaria Day), all attendees will go up to Capitol Hill to meet with their congressional offices and discuss the need for continued U.S. leadership in the global fight against malaria through the support of the President’s Malaria Initiative, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, and UN agencies.
