Ground Transportation

There are several ground transportation options that will take you to downtown Denver. Below are the most efficient and cost effective:

Regional Transportation District’s (RTD): Denver International Airport (DEN) now has a direct rail connection from downtown to the airport. When you exit the aircraft, follow signs for baggage claim or the transit center. Tickets for the A Line may be purchased at the ticket vending machines located on the train platform using cash or credit cards, fares are $10.50 per person.

To get to Denver Airport Station, follow signs to the "Transit Center" and proceed to the south end of the main terminal on Level 5 (located under the large American flag). Exit the terminal through the sliding glass doors and take the escalator located in the center of the plaza down to Level 1. You will board the A train to Union Station. Taxi: Follow signs for ground transportation. Downtown Denver is approximately 25 miles from the airport, with fares averaging $67-$75, depending on traffic.

If you choose to use a ride share app like Lyft or Uber, the pickup location is Level 5, Island 5. Exit through doors 506-510 (west side) or 507-511 (east side).
