Graduate Student Assistantship in Field Crop Entomology
Funding is available from a USDA NIFA grant for a Ph.D. assistantship in entomology in the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences at Clemson University. Research will focus on host plant resistance in cotton to thrips. This work will involve field, greenhouse, and laboratory trials to quantify resistance among genotypes and identify mechanisms of resistance.
