PhD Assistantship - Stored rice IPM at LSU
A graduate assistantship for a PhD student is available in the Department of Entomology at Louisiana State University. This assistantship will provide support to study insect pests of rice stored in on farm grain bins. The research will examine ecology, behavior, and control of key stored grain pests including the Angoumois grain moth, lesser grain borer, and the red flour beetle. The student will be under the supervision of Drs. Blake Wilson and Karen Sun. This assistantship will provide tuition, a competitive stipend, and access to health insurance.
