The USDA, ARS, Biological Control of Insects Research Laboratory in Columbia, MO is seeking a permanent, full-time Research Molecular Biologist to develop an innovative research program focused on improving the efficacy of biological control programs by improving microbial and beneficial agents. The goal of this research is to develop new information and novel biological control technologies that will lead to substantial reductions in insecticide use. The successful candidate will join an active group of scientists conducting research in molecular biology, microbiology and bioinformatics to produce information and technologies needed to enhance crop production while reducing insecticide applications in the U.S. and around the world.
