One award is given each year to an outstanding M.S. student. The recipient is recognized with a $200 cash award and a plaque at the annual Branch meeting.

This award will consider applications from students who have demonstrated activity and achievement in entomology and the biological sciences and have distinguished themselves in either: 1) an undergraduate research project; or 2) creative achievements in outreach.

Each year during the ESA Annual Meeting, students are offered the opportunity to present their research and win valuable prizes. There are several components to the competition: 10-minute Papers (oral), Posters, and Infographics.
