Applications Open: Science Policy Fellows (SPF)
The SPF Program is a two-year training program that prepares entomologists to advocate for the discipline at the federal level. Five fellows are selected annually through a competitive process and receive policy training at the annual meeting, followed by twice-yearly visits to Washington, D.C. to meet with Congressional offices, federal agencies, and partner organizations.

Invasive Ant Bootcamp
The 2025 Invasive Ant Boot Camp will be held from May 6-8, 2026, at the University of Florida in Gainesville. This intensive three-day workshop, led by Dr. Andrea Lucky and a team of specialists in pest control, policy, and ant ecology, focuses on the identification and management of invasive ant species. Gain hands-on experience with some of the world's most problematic invasive and tramp ants through a combination of expert-led lectures, field trips, and lab sessions.
