By volunteering their time and energy, ESA members fulfill vital leadership roles within the Society, making important decisions and carrying out essential functions as stated in the ESA Bylaws and Policy Manual.
All Society officers are elected by the membership through annual elections. All Branch officers are elected by the relevant Branch membership during the annual elections for the specific Branch.
ESA has announced the results of its 2023-2024 elections. Melissa Willrich Siebert has been elected as the next Vice President-Elect of the Society. Three other members have also been elected to the ESA Governing Board: Mary Gardiner, Richard Mankin, and Andrew Short. 2023 Branch Officer Elections:
ESA has announced the results for 2023 Branch Officer Elections for the following Branches: Eastern Branch, North Central Branch, Pacific Branch, Southeastern Branch, and Southwestern Branch. The North Central and Pacific Branch members have both voted to approve the proposed changes to their branch constitution and bylaws.
