Elections and Nominations

By volunteering their time and energy, ESA members fulfill vital leadership roles within the Society, making important decisions and carrying out essential functions as stated in the ESA Bylaws and Policy Manual.

All Society officers are elected by the membership through annual elections. All Branch officers are elected by the relevant Branch membership during the annual elections for the specific Branch.

Nominations for Society leadership positions are now open, due May 30. Open positions include ESA vice president-elect as well as several leadership roles in the ESA Sections and Branches. The full list of open positions and eligibility requirements can be found here. Self-nominations are encouraged. Voting will open July 15 and information on voting will be sent at that time.
