Member Access to ESA Journals
ESA members have access to all of our journal content as a benefit of membership. If you are unsure how to access our journals, the instructions below should help. Member Access to the ESA Journals from the ESA Website
To access our journal content as an authenticated ESA member, you must first log in through www.entsoc.org. Click the orange “Login” button at the top right-hand side of any page of our website, and log in. Once you have logged in look for the drop-down menu labeled "Publications" at the top of the page and select "Journals" from the drop-down menu options, shown in the screenshots below. (If you are already logged into the ESA site, click here to access the ESA Publications page.)
Click on "Journals", and you’ll be taken to our ESA Publications page, which features the cover of each of our journals. Select the journal you wish to access and you’ll be sent to that journal as a recognized member with full access to our content.
When you reach the journal website, you should see the words "ESA Member Access" in the upper right of your screen, verifying that the journal website has recognized you as an ESA member, as in the screenshot below.
Member Access to the ESA Journals from a Journal Website
If you are already on one of our journal websites and wish to log in as an ESA member, look for the words “Sign In” in the upper right of your screen. Click on “Sign In” and select “Sign in via society site” from the drop-down menu that appears. The “Sign in via society site” link is below the ESA name and logo, as in the screenshot below.
You will be taken to ESA website, where you can enter your ESA member username and password, shown in the screenshot below. Once you enter your ESA login information, you should be taken back to the article you wish to access as a recognized user authorized to see the full text of ESA’s journal content.
You should see the words "ESA Member Access" in the upper right of your screen, verifying that the journal website has recognized you as an ESA member, as in the screenshot below.
