5K Fun Run/Running Tour of St. Louis
Sunday, Nov. 17 │ 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM │ $30 per person
Start Entomology 2019 on the right foot and see the city via a Sunday morning sightseeing fun run through the streets of St. Louis. The tour will step off with both a run and walking group that will see St. Louis’ oldest buildings still in use, under the Gateway Arch and through a park dedicated to the Olympic spirt.
Gateway to St. Louis Intro Tour
Sunday, Nov. 17 │ 12:00 – 4:00 PM │ $53 per person
First time in St. Louis? Join your fellow entomologists to see all the highlights and see the city from the very top of the Gateway Arch. Now that you have the lay of the land, continue your driving tour that includes an overview of Laclede’s Landing, the Old Cathedral, the Old Courthouse, Busch Stadium, Citygarden, and a stop at the New Cathedral in Midtown. If time permits, drive through the Central West End and a Forest Park overview. This tour includes a certified tour guide, tram ride at the Gateway Arch, transportation, driver and guide gratuities.

Forest Park “Meet Me in St. Louis”

Once home to the 1904 World’s Fair, Forest Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. Attracting 12 million visitors a year, you’ll have the opportunity to visit three world-class attractions within the park including Saint Louis Science Center, the Missouri History Museum, and the Saint Louis Zoo including the Monsanto Insectarium. This tour includes transportation to Forest Park with a shuttle between attractions, driver and guide gratuities. Guests may depart America’s Center at 9:00 AM or 12:30 PM and return at 12:30 PM or 3:00 PM.
Evolution of Brewing

St. Louis has a long history of brewing starting in 1852 with the largest and oldest brewery site for Anheuser-Busch. From this tradition, craft breweries have been bubbling up in popularity creating unique experiences and flavors throughout the city. Visit two local breweries to see how this tradition has been carried forward. This tour includes a private tasting at Schlafly Tap Room, a tasting at Square One Brewery & Distillery, a public reserved time at Anheuser-Busch Brewery, pretzels, transportation, driver and guide gratuities.
Taste of St. Louis (Dinner)

Want to taste the best of St. Louis all in one night? Join your fellow entomologists for a dining tour of all the classics of St. Louis on this five-hour dinner excursion taking you throughout the city! Start with a tour and tasting at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Move on to a seated dinner Favazza’s on “The Hill,” St. Louis’s favorite Italian neighborhood. Finish with dessert with a frozen custard at Ted Drewes! Tour includes transportation, dinner, dessert, driver and guide gratuities.
Donald Danforth Plant Science Center
Monday, Nov. 18 │ 4:00 – 9:00 PM │ $122 per person
Join us as we host a special tour of the Danforth Plant Center. Built to improve the human condition through plant science, you’ll see the scientific teams focus their research at the nexus of food, energy and the environment to improve the productivity and sustainability of agriculture. Interactive teams develop unique platforms to discover underlying principles about how plants work, converting that knowledge into useful crops and products, and partner with organizations that are best positioned to solve problems where they exist around the world. Tour includes transportation, a donation to the Danforth Center and driver gratuities.
