This award is given by the ESA National Office to outstanding Ph.D. students. There are six annual awards, one given to a graduate student from each Branch to promote interest in entomology at the graduate level and to support attendance at the ESA annual meeting.

ESA’s International Branch hosted their 2013 meeting on the afternoon of March 5 during the ISBCA Symposium in Pucón, Chile. Pucón is situated in the Araucanía Region on the shore of the Villarrica Lake, with views of the Villarrica volcano.

Southwestern Branch of the Entomological Society of Americain conjunction with the Annual Meeting of the Society of Southwestern Entomologists

The 2013 Southeastern Branch Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of America was held March 3-6, 2013 at the Hilton Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

ESA's International Branch will be holding their second annual meeting in Daegu.  They will be hosting a symposium entitled, “The Contribution of IPM to Food Security in the Developing World”, on August 21 from 2-6:00 p.m.
