Come meet up with us for a casual evening of insect collection at a lovely location just outside of Lincoln for an evening of April night collecting on restored tallgrass prairie. Pioneers Park Nature Center is comprised of 668 acres of tallgrass prairie, woodlands, wetlands and a tributary stream of Salt Creek. Since 1963 the Nature Center has served the Lincoln area as an environmental education center and wildlife sanctuary. More than ten miles of hiking trails wind through various habitats and take visitors past non-releasable raptor exhibits and a small herd of bison.
