ESA COVID-19 Member Support Fund and Dues Waivers

ESA has created a new member support fund to grant membership dues waivers for 2021 for members affected by COVID-19. ESA will donate up to $10,000 USD in matching funds,* allowing us to provide for our members in their time of need. Your donation will ensure that a fellow entomologist can keep their member benefits and stay connected to our entomological community. All donors will be recognized on the ESA website, during the Annual Meeting, and in American Entomologist.

The goal of this support fund is to support current ESA members seeking dues waivers for the 2021 membership year via a funding match model with other members. For any questions on this program, contact Rosina Romano.

Donation Timeline:
Make your donation now until January 31, 2021

Application Timeline:
Applications will be reviewed beginning October 1, with the final applications reviewed on January 31 (or until funding is exhausted, whichever comes first). If you have applied by September 30, notification of application status will be sent October 15, 2020. If you apply October 1 or later, you will receive your notification by February 15, 2021. 

*ESA will guarantee a minimum of $5,000 in waivers, regardless of donations.
